6801579Arcadia Grove5301,4802/2listingmapComm. NotesJr: Unit looks nice. Appears to have decent number of windows, lots of storage in kitchen plus dining area. Fireplace, nice laundry room. Balcony has nice tree view, but being by the pool could be a little annoying depending on usage and noise patterns. Master shower could be expanded, but you'd have to do something with the window. Slightly high HOA.1/82989 N 44th St #2015, Phoenix, AZ 85018

6723473Arcadia Grove5751,7433/3listingmapComm. NotesJr: Seems like a decent place. Obstructed view of Camelback Mountain, pool table. Kinda in the Arcadia Lite neighborhood, which is a pleasant area. 15-20 minutes drive to our house via road with nice views. Pulled off market 12/20, maybe to be relisted in Jan? Yep, relisted 1/8, pending 1/25.11/182989 N 44th St #3028, Phoenix, AZ 85018*

6803721Cabrillo Square5751,1712/2listingmapJr: About 18 minutes away. Great golf course via off covered back patio. Floors are carpet and LVP. Fireplace. Bedrooms look nice and bright, but it's hard to tell how much light is in the main living area. Plank ceiling in main living area. Television placement there could be a little tricky if you don't opt for the over-fireplace position shown in photos, which is still a wiring challenge. Decent-size kitchen, separate dining area. Larger master shower with artistic window. Laundry machines are in closet but full-size. Single-car garage. HOA not too bad, includes trash/water. Interior is two levels, with two steps to the front door and two steps to the master bedroom.1/97800 E Lincoln Dr #1029, Scottsdale, AZ 85250

6745284Canterra at Squaw Peak5081,8523/2listingmapJr: A large place with well-chosen upgrades. Interior appears pleasant, seems to have a lot of light. Mentions community rec room, so may have a pool table (though there are no pics or description to say for sure). Views out of the south side are great, while the location is close (10 to 12 minutes) and very easy to get to. It's also right next to the Phoenix Mountains Preserve (one of the largest city parks in the world); in fact, there's a dedicated pedestrian path to it. Also has two-car garage. Of course, lots of desert around you means you'll probably be dealing with desert critters. Main downside is that access is via stairs. HOA fee is reasonable. Pending as of 12/21. Still pending as of 1/25.10/81747 E Northern Ave #252, Phoenix, AZ 85020

6806205Casa Norte6591,5663/2listingmapJr: 17-19 minutes away with a nice park and some shopping and dining options within walking distance. Back yard has multiple large, mature trees and a pleasant pergola-covered sitting area, along with some grass on the side. Kitchen is fairly large, with a large island. Can't see much of the master bath. Flooring appears to be wood in the bedrooms and large tile elsewhere. Looks like it gets a good amount of interior light from well-placed windows. Fireplace, 2-car garage. Has a low HOA but doesn't say what that includes; I would assume not much.1/1711268 E Poinsettia Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85259*

6772914Estate Monterra6551,7512/2listingmapJr: Decent area 13-15 minutes away. Someone liked building cabinets and shelves - tons of them! Though, that may limit furniture arrangement options a little. Some nice touches plus some wood flooring (and some carpet). Looks like there may be three skylights, including one in the kitchen -- these tend to add a ton of light. Attached 2-car garage. Probably not much in the way of views, but the front likely has at least some view of the mountains given the way its oriented and what's between the house and the mountains. The bedroom shown (which I think is the master) has lots of cabinets and drawers for storage, but it's going to make TV placement a little tricky if you care about that (though you might be able to put it in one of the cabinets, and I wouldn't be surprisd if one of them is already wired for it). There's a nice park within walking distance that has ponds and walking trails. HOA not too bad but notably does not cover the roof.1/156334 N 19th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016*

6806113Greenway North5151,3383/2listingmapJr: 21-23 minutes away, so pushing distance a bit (it's close to Mikie's old place). Back patio is lovely, with an elevated sitting area, a fireplace, built-in grill, and very nice golf course and mountain views. Has nice-looking pool, but that brings a lot of expenses and hassle. Also has very large, pleasant-looking, pergola-covered patio out front, which would help with afternoon sun exposure in summer (house faces west). Interior-wise, appears to have been nicely updated over time, starting with the double-entry front door and triple-pane windows. The kitchen is quite large with lots of storage, a breakfast bar at the island, and an exterior door to the back yard that exits near the grill. There's also a larger dining area off the kitchen. Floors are a mix of wood in the bedrooms and large, diagonally set tile elsewhere. Both bathrooms have showers that appear to have been converted from tubs. 2-car garage with storage cabinets, small but serviceable laundry room with full-size machines. No HOA, which is great, but but keep in mind that means you're covering maintenance of the house itself plus all the landscaping, the pool, and the several hundred square-feet of pergola.

Note: We're generally avoiding pools, but this one is being let through because of the views.

Sr: Please put on list. There’s no HOA tone. Need to make sure get age info on roof, HWA, electric bikes, Windows, pool motors, etc.

6769240Monterey Ridge6101,8142/2listingmapJr: Good relative location at about 16 minutes away; 5-6 minute drive from Mayo Hospital. Close to lots of shopping and dining options, including ~20 minute walk to Scottsdale 101. Unit doesn't appear to have much in the way of views, but it looks nicely done and nicely appointed. Main living area seems to have plenty of light, but it's hard to tell about master bedroom since it's just the patio door at one end, and that patio is a covered balcony. Moderate HOA. 1/14: Contingent on Buyer Sale. Still contingent 1/25.1/917850 N 68th St #2097, Phoenix, AZ 85054

6779827Optima Biltmore Towers5491,3562/2listingmapComm. NotesJr: Unit appears to be on the east side of the building with urban views, possibly some mountain to the right. 6805210Orange Tree Villas6751,7623/2listingmapJr: Excellent location <5 minutes from us or about 25 minutes walking (with no major streets to cross along the way); it's about the same distance from the just-redeveloped former PV mall, which has shopping and restaurants. Note photos appear to be from '21 listing. Fireplace, 2-car garage. LVP flooring throughout. Looks like there's a well-lit breakfast nook with a beamed ceiling attached to the kitchen plus a separate dining room area. Has skylight over the tub, another over the master vanity, and maybe yet another over the hallway -- should bring in a lot of natural light to these central interior areas. Master has a large closet with organization system. Stained-glass windows next to and over front door are interesting if they're still there. Nice-size private back yard with covered patio and synthetic grass, plus it looks like it has a decent-size side yard, too. HOA is low but includes only grounds maintenance. 6752433Racquet Club at Scottsdale Ranch5001,1362/2listingmap12/29Jr: 16-20 minutes away. Looks like all the windows in the main area are under the patio - probably a good combination of light without direct sun. Backyard looks nicely landscaped, has wood-burning fireplace. Reasonable HOA given it includes water/sewer. Walking distance to hospital and shopping plaza. Development appears to have a good-sized clubhouse, but they don't say much about it - may have pool table? 12/31: Listing removed, but it didn't sell and it's been on and of market for a while, so it may come back on in the new year or in a few months.10/229707 E Mountain View Rd #1414, Scottsdale, AZ 85258

6806441Scottsdale In Towne Villas5991,7693/2listingmapJr: 20-23 minutes away, with a grocery store and a few other things within walking distance. Two floors, but has a master on the base floor. That said, looks like a single AC unit, though the ceiling fan along with the upstairs opening to the main living area may mitigate this. Engineered wood floors. The door at the upstairs landing appears to go to the rooftop patio, which is great for certain uses (e.g., stargazing) but probably not a space where you'd put a bunch of furniture and entertain, etc. I suspect you'd want to do a few updates especially in the bathrooms. Has a pleasant-looking ground-level patio, part of which is covered and has sun shades. Fireplace, dining area with kitchen pass-thru. Two-car garage that's nicely finished and has lots of storage, though it looks like there's no inside access to it. Laundry is in the garage. Looks like there is a mature tree in front and in back. HOA is relatively low but does not include roof.1/187636 E Medlock Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85250

6799651Scottsdale Shadows3691,2002/1.75listingmapJr: Unit location on the map would give it a nice mountain view, but photos suggest unit is on other side of the building, which is southwest-facing and has a view over the property's pond. Industrial feel mixed with cigar lounge that combines a stainless cooking hood, exposed electrical conduit, industrial pendant lights, and exposed AC ductwork with dark wood textures and exposed brick and block walls. Could go very wrong, or be quite nice -- photos seem to suggest the latter. Flooring is laminate and tile. Bathrooms have been modernized with upscale fixtures including Toto-style motorized bidet toilet seats and rainshower shower head, though the master has a shower curtain and the second bathroom is a shower/tub. (Master bath also includes a TV for particularly long, uh, sessions.) Covered balcony includes motorized sunshades, a great add if the unit is indeed southwest-facing.
